Before there was Bella...

Her eyes darted to the small group of vampires, to her sister who had the same face plastered on, back to the vampires and then scanned the humans- they were interested but scared to go near that table. Her black platforms made rapid tapping noise as she carelessly walked to her older sister Elena, it didn’t take long for her to reach the dark skinned beauty.
“Should we say hi?” she broke any chance for silence between the two as she shoot the group a unreadable look, funny how they hadn’t changed, funny how that idea would even sketch in her mind... of course they wouldn’t of changed. She didn’t want to be the odd one out so she grabbed a red apple from her sister’s tray without asking, she always had to concentrate on not making a face when she ate human food.
Elena's velvety black long hair framed her face perfectly as she sat in the furtherest corner of the noisy cafeteria. Her stunning beauty that she shared with her sister made it very difficult to meld into a crowd of humans but today she did with ease - the humans had new eye candy that sat on the opposite sides of the crowded room. Her golden eyes flickered up towards the sound of a pair of prada Shoes were heard.
Her eyes caught glimpse of her sister who gracefully made her way to their usual table now with a dozen eyes gazing in their direction. –Yes..Can’t believe that they haven’t sensed us yet- Elena used her telepathy to answer her sister. Seconds later, Lena was upon her feet, her hands smoothing over her dark denim jeans as she joined her sister.
She shoot her a nervous smile “think Emmett’s forgiven me for the accident with the car?” she whispered remembering little over 30 years ago there was a freak accident with a football game that ended in an unfixable ‘dent’ in Emmett’s favourite Jeep. She stood close to her sister, looking rather dull compared to her sister then again that was usual paranoid thoughts.

To think humans had to think that every day they had the miss fortune of walking next to Elena. Her back stiffened with the natural instinct of fight or flight that came to a vampire coming to another in their territory. The Cullen’s, it was hard to be friends with them since the whole ‘we don’t eat humans’ thing was always around. Why fight nature was Alita’s personal point of view.

It was Alice and Edward who first looked up with those unnaturally dull eyes, the others slowly greeted the two girls it felt strange, uneasy why should it? She thought stubbornly they were all friends here right?
A small chuckle slipped from the girls lips as her sister mentioned Emmett's car she had completely totalled one summer "Probably not..Think Barbie's still a bitch?" -That one kind of answers itself- Lena spoke telepathically with another chuckle as they approached the table. Of course Alice and Edward were to notice them first..They had gifts to aid them which were obviously lacking. "Losing you're touch, Cullen" She said with a nod, making her features of her heart shaped face noticeably as she shone a small smile in their direction”



“Your mind Elena, if your still going by that name is one thing I have chosen to keep away and out of at all cost” Edward chuckled happy to see the girls- even if the Cullen’s vegetarian ways couldn’t rub off on them. It was rather funny to see Esme scold the Cullen’s about ‘playing’ with the two after dark (though in truth she loved them) as if they where the two bad children hanging around the Christian family.  

Rosalie’s face screwed up a little if it wasn’t black bow peep and her little sheep, her attempt to separate the header and the lamb had failed. The two had unreasonable history she didn’t think much about Elena and she was sure the thoughts where mutual. Emmett had that dumb (but so adorable) look on his face like a child at Christmas; he would of bear hug the girls if that didn’t result in a thunderous boom.
Elena's brow's lifted playfully at Edward's words but her mind soon lingered when her eyes feel upon Alice, Jasper and Emmett who she smirked towards - much the same look she received from Alice. Her gaze completely neglected Rosalie as she pulled herself out a chair, turning it around so the back rested again the table and straddled her legs either side of her chair as she sat. -We've got soo to catch up on..- She 'said' towards Alice as her mind gave Edward a little replay of the last 30 years just for the fun of it.
“You’ve been so busy...” he stated heavy with sarcasm but did enjoy the little slid show like replay she had so gracefully given him. “Seemed fun” that wording did not seem correct Emmett grew frustrated with the lack of ‘talking’ “How the hell have you two been?” he asked with a small growl, he was worse than a child when it came to seeking attention. Alita answered “Ha fun legally died twice” she stated, she wasn’t joking,

“Then again...” she mused “it’s not as embarrassing as being mauled by a bear” she mocked friendly with  a small giggle as his large hand rested on her head then in a flurry of movement messed her hair up. “And you?” he turned to the older sister, the one that could beat him at wrestling easily.  
Her eyes glanced from the group to her sister as she spoke but her attention was soon lost as Emmett asked her a question. "Yeah..Pretty solid" -How about you sugar?- Lena asked, giving Emmett a quick wink of her eye, mainly to piss of Rosalie who had been completely ignored the entire time. "How is Carlisle and Esme?" She then question out loud - She always saw them as the parents they never had.

Rose glared at Elena from the corner of her eyes as she winked and Emmett chuckled “We are all pretty good now that we moved...back” his voice lowered at the last word. “So how long have you two been here?” Edward asked for the other Cullen’s as he usually did. Alita had slipped into a seat next to the silent Jasper; he kind of freaked her out so she tried not to look at him. “After a car accident took our parents life and sister became my legal guardian we moved here five years ago for an easier life” she stated in a false innocent voice- dawning the puppy eyes for extra effect.
